Our Vision

To be able to teach the Word in a manner that all will be able to receive it. To make God’s Word simple enough for a young child to understand. To teach understanding and doubtlessness that the Lord’s will is for us to have life overflowing with His blessings.

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

– James 3:17 & John 10:10

Our Beliefs

At True Christ Outreach Ministries, we believe in the true and living God. We believe that Christ is the head of the church and He gave the church His promise of perpetuity and blessings. “And he is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” (Colossians 1:18)

We strive to be like Christ. We believe that all who confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead are part of the True Vine. Our church is built on love, our labor is in love, our help is by the Word of God, our operation is by the Word, in love and with tithes and offerings.

Salvation is given by God in grace, apart from human works or merit. It is received by man through repentance and faith. Repentance and faith are absolutely necessary. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Baptism sets forth the burial and resurrection of Christ and shows the individual’s salvation by death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ. We believe Scriptural baptism is by immersion. “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism” (Ephesians 4:5)

The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death. We have set aside the third Sunday of each month for communion in remembrance of Him. However, we will, from time to time, partake in Holy Communion by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come.” (1 Corinthians 11:26)

Tithing was before the law of Moses. “Of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.” (Genesis 28:22) This was Jacob’s promise to the Lord that he would tithe. We must remember not to neglect the weightier matters of the law which are judgment, mercy, and faith while paying tithes. (Matthew 23:23) Malachi teaches that those who fail to pay their tithes are thieves of God and thereby cursed. “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse; for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.” (Malachi 3:8-9) However, Malachi 3:10-12 clearly demonstrates an act of faith (things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen) in tithing. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the window of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)
